And then there was four

This four semi finalists was decided earlier on today which the highlights of the four matches being Andy Murrays epic five set win over Spain's Fernando Verdasco. Verdasco displayed some outstanding tennis which took Murray and the spectators by suprise, Displaying the same performance as when he was ranked in the top 10 a couple years ago. Despite this Murray held his nerve to edge past the Spanish player.

In other matches Djokovic and Janowicz enjoyed straight set wins in their matches. Djokovic was at one point 3-0 down to Berdych but clawed his way back to take the second set and the match in 3 sets. Janowicz served an impressive 30 aces in his win over compatriot Kubot to become the first Polish man to reach a grand slam semi final. Finally Del Potro produced some inspired tennis to be 4th seed David Fereer. Despite a fall in the first game which lead to people fearing another injury for Del Potro, he reminded people of how good of a tennis player he is. In my opinion if he wasn't so injury prone he would be easily in the top 5.
