Rogers Cup - Murray Losses but it isn't necessary a bad sign, others charge on

Andy Murray
Andy murrays shock 64 63 defeat to Latvian Ernest Gulbis was by far the biggest shock so far in the tournament. With a disappointing 33% second serves in during the match, Murray after that match "the goal is to try and peak at the US open" and "there's obviously some things for me to work on,but that will come with playing matches". Watching Murrays second round match against Granollers,he was a bit Rusty due to the post Wimbledon break. However this might be a good omen for Murray in the lead up to the US open. In the two tournaments before his victory at Flushing meadows in 2012 he pulled out of the third round of the Rogers Cup followed by a second round loss Cincinnati. Could history therefore be repeating itself?

Joining Raonic in the quarter finals is another Canadian. In obviously the best week of his career so far Vasek Pospisil cause another shock after beating Thomas Berdych 75 26 76 making it the first time in 24 years that two Canadians have reached the quarter finals.
