Hingis to make tour comback

Following the likes of players such as Kimiko Date-krum, former world number 1 Martina Hingis is coming out of retirement (again). The 32 year old Swiss player has accepted a wild card at the southern Californian open in the doubled event where she is partnering Daniela Hantchova.She told Wtatennis.com "I am very much looking forward to making a return to competitive play at the Southern Californian Open".  Hingis last doubles performance on the main circuit was in the 2007 up open where she reached the third round, also with Hantchova. So far there has been no indication that Hingis tends to complete in the singles yet. hingis has won 37 doubles titles with a 286-54 win-loss (source wta.com).
