This weeks ATP/WTA events

Ok normally I am going to try and do this every Sunday but i've been busy working during the weekend. Here is a list of the weeks ATP/WTA tournaments:-

So far the only two seed to fall is the top two! Safarova lost 1-6 0-6 to Russian Valeria Solovyeva and alizé corner lost 4/6 2-6 to Andrea Hlavackova.

The only seeds out so far is irina-camelia begu first round lost to former Czech top 100 renata voracova 5-7 2-6 and Spain's Lourdes Dominguez Lino retired in the first round match.

This fiorst round saw half of the seeds fall of the first hurdle including number 1 seed Sam Querrey. Querrey who also lost in the first round of wimbledon was beaten by compatriot Tim Smyczek 4-6 6-7 (8-10). Édouard Roger-Vasselin was beaten my former top 20 vetran Ivo Karlovic in a close two setter (6-7 4-6). Kenny de Schepper who produced his best ever grand slam performance by reaching the 4th round of wimbledon was brought back to reality by Ukrainian born American Alex Kuznetsov (3-6 4-6). Finally Marinko Matosevic retired after the first set of his first round match citing fatigue against American Jack Sock.

Only two seeds have fallen so far in Germany. Lukáš Rosol was beaten in the first round by Brazillian Thomas Bellucci 4-6 4-6 and in the second round it was 2006 french open boys champion Martin Kližan who lost to world number 58 and amazingly spains number 11 Roberto Bautista-Agut (7-6 1-6 4-6). Also a quick mention goes to Briotains Alexander ward who defeated Dustin brown to reach the main draw of this event, a good performance by the brit. Unfourtnately he lost 3-6 5-7 to Italian 5th seed Fabio Fognini

2013 Swedish Open

In the tournment with the most seeds left in (as at 1pm 10/7/13) Horacio Zeballos is the only seed to go out, which was in the first round to his countryman Carlos Berlocq 4-6 3-6.
