In
an interview published on btagesanzeiger.ch, Rodger Federer's fitness
coach Pierre Paganini has declared Federer fully fit. After a up and
down 2013 season for the former number one Paganini believes that
Federer can again become a force in 2014 on the tour. He is quoted as
saying:-
Right now – touch wood – it looks very good. When we discuss the training with each other or with (Federer coach) Seve (Luthi), we are happy,” “Federer again shows things on the court and in the gym, where we say: ‘Wow, the sparks are back.’

Pagnini
navigates his time around Swiss number two Stanislas
Wawrinka
as
well as Federer. He said he was a little surprised about Wawrinka's
very successful 2013 season which included making four ATP finals
(winning one) and his shock semi final at the US Open. He also called
Wawrinka's physical development beautiful and said that this is what
happens when you don't give up despite setbacks.
Federer
begins his season at the 2014 Brisbane International whilst Wawrinka
takes part in next weeks mubadala world tennis championship
exhibition.
