Serena
Williams endured a hard close two setter match against world
number two Victoria Azarenka. The first set got off to a
tentative start but at 3-3 Azarenka double faulted wehich cost her
the game and eventually the set which Williams took 64. In the second
set Serena got off to a fantastic start taking a demanding 2-0 lead
and the title seemed to be inevitability hers. Azarenka however
displayed fantastic defensive play and shots by producing some of her
best tennis, leading to her taking the next four games. Williams now
trailing 2-4 did what true champions do and clawed her way back to
level it once more 4-4. Both players were producing high quality
tennis in the second set but a average game at 5-5 lead to Williams
breaking Azarenka once more and then going on to win yet another
title. This is now her forth consecutive tournament win. March
