Earlier on today Novak Djokovic tweeted a photo of him touching some run down wall. The significance of this wall was that it was where he first started to play tennis. With the photo he tweeted the following sentence:-

where i hit my first tennis balls w/ Jelena Gencic. Destroyed by
bombs but still there “
Jelena Gencic was a renowned professional handball player and tennis coach who worked with numerous players in the Balkan region including Monica Seles and Goran Ivanisevic. Djokovic grew up during the Kosovo War in which thousands of people was killed. Below of the a video of Djokovic talking about growing up during the war in an interview with CBS 60 minutes.
